Teeing Up Our Gratitude

Hello Everyone,

Last Friday, June 6, we were blown away by the partnership of 80 golfers, 40 reception guests, and over 90 additional event supporters who made the Tee Up for Freedom: Golfing Against Exploitation fundraiser possible. From our generous sponsors to the dedicated team at Tehama Golf Club, every individual played a vital role in making the day a resounding success for the anti-trafficking movement here in Monterey.

Thanks to your overwhelming generosity, we have exceeded our fundraising goal, raising more than $166,000 to bring freedom and hope to survivors of human trafficking in our community. Your presence and support are fueling real change.

We’re especially grateful for our keynote speaker, Kinsey Tostado, whose story of strength and courage moved the room and inspired deeper engagement with our mission.

A heartfelt thank you to Tehama Golf Club—especially General Manager Vincent Ferrante, along with Jennifer Davis and David Jackson—for hosting us with such excellence.

We also want to recognize our Champion Sponsor, Carmel Stone Imports, and thank its fearless leaders, Robbie Robinson and Kinsey Tostado. Your visionary investments have been a powerful catalyst for our organization and the anti-trafficking movement in our region.

To our incredible Set Free Monterey Bay staff and volunteers: thank you for your tireless work behind the scenes.

As you reflect on the day, we invite you to take the next step. There are ways to stay in touch, as well as photos from the event posted below. Share what impacted you. Follow up on the questions stirred in your heart. Give as you're led. And most of all, invite others to join this growing movement for freedom.

For freedom,

Jeanine Staton
Board President
